Another schedule thread. Another nervous upcoming senior.

AP Calculus AB is at least easier than BC from what I hear. I would go with that, unless you're extremely strong in math.

I signed up for AP Statistics next year as well. I hear it's incredibly easy, and insanely hard lol. I guess it depends on the individual.

Overall, it's up to you. All of your plans sound good. I think you shouldn't do calculus over the summer. Try to relax as much as you can and apply for scholarships, write essays, take the SATs etc during the summer.

~ Theos

Okay.

Any more insight on physics? I think this is the hardest decision I have made schedule-wise ever.

I heard the AP Physics exam is insane. Some of my friends last year were like jumping for joy when they got a 3. And they're like the smartest people I know...one went to UPenn and another went to Stanford. But they said they would've been happy with a 2..so a 3 was a big shock for them.

But then again, you'll be a senior and you're more of an ENglish person so I guess it really wouldn't matter what you got on your AP exam by that point.

You should talk to some students who are taking it this year and see what they say about the Physics teacher, workload and all that and then talk to some Biology students and compare.

@Theo--I'm still deciding about Statistics..I also heard it was extremely easy from some and really hard from other so I'm not really sure yet. And all my math teachers are like ehhh wellllll it's just...different from other math classes and give some really vague, abstract answers. I heard the teacher was good though?

Oh, and try and enjoy your summer--don't take Calculus over the summer..
It's like the last summer before you graduate. It'll be nice to just relax, hang out, and get an early start on some apps..even if it's brainstorming for essay topics or whatever.
Because...senior year is going to be pretty hectic anyways.

hahahahaha yearbook
be a man, OP

One should consider that AP statistics represents only a 1 semester college course in non-calculus statistics. This would be fine for a non-science major of course, but if the teacher is more concerned with overloading you with work and the course is year-long, you may want to skip it.

Good thing I'm not a man. I love yearbook. This will be my fourth year. I'm editor-in-chief.

how passionate of you

Sarcasm really isn't necessary. I do love it. I discovered most of my interests through it. This year will be my second year as EIC. It's the hardest activity in my whole school according to most people. If you want to be negative do it somewhere else. Honestly, if you have nothing better to do then that's sad. If you do then why don't you go do it? You've been very negative in several posts to other users. If you have problem just mature and get over it and leave it alone.

it was a joke based on your post in the other thread that was all "schedule b lookz moar passionate!~~" argh don't you undertand my sophisticated humor

brb maturing

Well, passion is important... especially in college admissions to TOP colleges. Lower tier colleges don't care as much.
