Another Score Raising Thread

I took the SAT in january and ended up with a score that was right in the middle of the scores I recieved in the practice tests.

760 M (2 wrong)
660 W (9 wrong, 11 essay)
690 CR (9 wrong)

Which adds up to a combined score of 2110, I'll be retesting in either May or June, and would like help on raising score to around 2250 or higher. I know I can bring up math score by making less stupid mistakes/getting a little bit of a higher curve. What I need most help in is grammar for the writing section. What book can you recommend for this?

I already have the blue book and the accompanying online course.

bump, help please?

I think your big problem is on CR. Remember to read questions before looking at passage and NOT to read the whole passage. Practice doing the practice tests 3-4 minutes under the given time constraints to force yourself to think quicker and develop more consistent answering tendencies.

Or...just open the stickied thread about Xiggi's advice.
