My school isnt offering AP economics or Govt, so I wa sthinking of self studying the AP Microeconomics or the AP govt exam. But if the fact that Im self studying will never show up on my final application, I guess it'd probably just be better to wait and take those courses in college?

The AP scores will appear on your AP transcript which you can have College Board send to schools for you.

In addition, if you're making a "Summary of achievement" type resume, you can put it on there as well.

I'm self studying two AP's this year because I'm only taking 2 honors classes due to a myriad of scheduling conflicts. So it's critical that schools know that I'm doing it.

The tests wont be on my AP transcript until next June though, at which point, college admissions will have been over for 6 months (I'm a senior)

Ah.

In that case, study for them if you have time and want the credit. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

Does anybody know if chemistry is very diffcult to self-study?

Chemistry is a ***** to not self study. Self studying and getting a 3 is almost impossible.
