Another Transfer Chances Thread

Alright, folks, please be completely honest with me. What might you think my chances are of getting into UNC? It really is my top choice... also, a lot of people seem to disagree with the unc.edu stats on the transfer applicant/acceptance ratio. I'm guessing since the school itself put it up there that it's pretty accurate, but tell me if you guys have any info on that.

Whatta ya think? There are 4325096^6 of these on here already, I know. Thanks!

Oh, and I'm a white male. That'll probably hurt a little... Argh.

please? anyone?

If you only have one college semester I'd say not that great. I'm not sure, I've just heard its much harder to transfer after one semester. I know someone who had a 4.0 his freshman semester at NC State who didn't get in, the next year (transfering as a junior) he did.

I have a 3.67 with honors sciences classes and 71 hours. My HS was 3.4/1310 but I dont think that'll matter much either way. The thing is I transfered once already, from UGA to South Carolina. Do you think that'll hurt me? Everyone I talked to said transfering as a junior, 3.5 and up is fine, but I don't know about the transfering twice.

What do you guys think??

Oh yea also I have a strong 4.0 right now in all my classes, should I send in midterm grades? I don't even know how to do that, just have my professors send a letter saying I have an A?
