Another try..please chance me for Harvard, Yale, Princeton..

<p>Ever since I submitted my applications, I've been relatively carefree but for some reason this weekend its hit me kind of hard. Since decisions are just around the corner, I want to gauge my chances at the following places:</p>

<p>I have gotten a couple of decisions so far (No liklies).. Harvard SCEA- deferred; UVA- accepted with Echols and College Science Scholarship; Northwestern HPME (dual admission to medical school)-was a semifinalist (1000 apps to around 150 apps) and called in for an interview</p>

• SAT I (breakdown): 2290 (740 CR, 800 M, 750 W)
• SAT II: Math II (800), Chemistry (760), US History (740)
• Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0
• Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 1/~550
• AP/ College Classes: AP World History, AP Comp. Science, AP Chemistry, AP Physcology, AP Calc BC, AP English Lang., AP US History, AP English Lit., AP Government, AP Comp. Government, AP Biology, AP Physics B, AP Physics C, two dual enrolled math classes (Calc 2) —15 total------so far 6 5's and 1 4.
• Senior Year Course Load: Everything after AP US History
• Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): Intel ISEF x2 (4th place grand prize), National Science Olympiad Bronze Medalist, State Science Olympiad Gold Medalist x8, US Congressional Award Silver Medal, National Merit finalist, AP Scholar with Distinction after jr yr, Research published in 2 journals.</p>

<p>Subjective:
• Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Model United Nations (Secretary, VP, President and Secretary General), Science Olympiad (President), Varsity Math Team (top scorer), Varsity Tennis, Teen Council (Founded/ Board Member) and Medical Research (Filed Patent and supported by national pharmaceutical association). All activities since freshman year.
• Job/Work Experience: Research Internship (9 weeks)
• Volunteer/Community service: 200 hrs of volunteering/ job shadowing at local hospital—Got US Congressional Award Silver Medal for those hrs + 300 hrs of other community service)
• Summer Activities: Duke University TIP, LeadAmerica, Accepted to Governor’s School (Medicine), Research
• Teacher Recommendation: both were good (one of the top students in however many yrs of teaching for both)
• Counselor Rec: getting it from my principal.</p>

<p>Other
• School Type: Large public school (2500+ kids)--relatively good school
• Ethnicity: South Asian
• Gender: female
• Income Bracket: 150K-200K
• Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Immigrant, 1st generation in college in USA.</p>

<p>What you’ve seen is that you’re competitive. Many with your stats will make it into these schools, most won’t. Just keep fighting. Practice for the interviews.</p>
