Another UC application question

How do the UC's verify the hours you put on your application? Let's say volunteer 4 hours and work hours, all that sort?

How do they know if you are lying? or not? :x

I have been volunteering, working and what not, but it hasn't been too consistent, volunteered at a hospital for 6 months. Worked for 6 months(I left because I was getting annoyed with the boss). One year of biology club, this that, what not. And I am getting a tutoring job soon.

Would it look bad to the UC's for having an extracurricular/work record like that?

THANKS! PLEASE HELP!

Its pretty much an honors system. Also, they do checks on random applications because they don't have the resources to verify every single application (this is what I've heard)...

Good luck Yams =]

yeah, and not too much time verifying all 13,000 applicants..

what do you mean by an honors system?

honor system as in they trust what you write in your app

^exactly...

besides, anyone who lies about stuff on their apps deserves to burn in CC hell.

lmao, CC hell!

Were you thinking about putting WOW as an extracurricular?

what about a WOW bug tester?

definitely a hook. just make sure to convey your passion for it.
