Another update on my S2's post-film-school career

No flaming, please. I know this is kvelling, but I do have lots of CC friends on this forum and I’d like to update them on where my son is, career-wise. His 2017 Demo Reel of his work can be seen at vimeo (dot) com/254915563

My favorite comment on FB in response to the reel was from a person who was part of his admissions review: “Made me think back to the day we popped your application DVD into the office player and went crazy. We all gathered around the little TV and said, ‘This kid is great!’ Still true.”

Which is a little funny because his application portfolio video included some of his work from when he was 9-years old (as well as high-school work). They liked that it showed a progression in what he could do. That approach might still be good for applicants.

I’m always happy to read your posts. It’s really generous of you to keep us updated. Your son must be amazing if the admissions committee can remember reviewing his application supplement. Good for him.
