Chance Me / Match Me!

<p>Hey guys.</p>

<p>White female, Virginia resident.</p>

<p>3.9 unweighted, 4.2 weighted GPA.
I go to a Governor's school - sort of like IB, you apply to get in - and I've taken the toughest classes available.
SAT - 2210 (780 CR, 760 W, 670 M)
SAT II - 770 Bio, 700 Lit
My school doesn't rank.</p>

<p>EC's
Varsity Volleyball, National Honor Society, Yearbook Editor, Model UN, Peer Tutoring, Art Club, about 150 hours of community service. I've done programs at colleges for 2 of my last 3 summers.
Honors
National Merit Scholarship, went to a science conference and won 3rd place, some letters and academic awards from volleyball, and others.
Work
I'm currently employed at a convenience store and I've worked as a waitress.
I have an awesome letter of recommendation and my essays are good.</p>

<p>I think you have a great chance at any of those schools! Your test scores are good enough for all of them and you have a solid gpa and ECs. Upenn is unpredictable like the other ivies so its hard to say if you’ll get in (ex. my class’ salutatorian whos an international musician got deferred) but I think you have a decent chance.<br>
Basically
Upenn: reach but very possible
UVA: low reach/target
Ugeorgia, UNC: target
Drexel & American: low target/safety</p>

<p>The only tough call is Upenn, like the other person said. Do you have any EC leadership positions?</p>

<p>I’m yearbook editor and Art Club VP, but that’s it. That may a stumbling block, I’m afraid.</p>

<p>You shouldn’t have a problem getting into UGA, UNC, Drexel, or American; UVA seems to be a good match school and UPenn might be a bit of a reach but as you said “What the hell” =)

<p>Theres no doubt in my mind that youll probably get into all your schools. UPENN is pretty selective as I got deffered and so did the soluditarian in my class ho is an international piano muscian but then again she was asian which is a minus. Overall I think you hve great chances in all your schools.</p>

<p>You’re definitely everywhere except UVA and UPenn. UVA is a match and like other people said, UPenn is unpredictable, but I think you have a fairly decent shot at getting in. Good luck!
