Another "What are my chances?"

<p>I realize that Notre Dame is such a reach for me, but it is my dream school. My counselor encouraged me to apply EA, which I have done, but I just wanted some of your opinions:</p>

<p>GPA:
4.5 weighted
Full IB diploma candidate. </p>

<p>Class Rank: top 5% </p>

<p>SAT:
580 CR, 710 Math</p>

<p>Waiting for results of ACT</p>

<p>EC's:
Varsity Football 4 yrs
ASB 2 yrs
Commissioner of Pep, 1 year.
Class Secretary Junior year
Volleyball freshmen year
National Honor Society
Life Scout, working on Eagle
Worked full time during summers as a lifeguard, camp counselor, also work in my family's business.<br>
Math tutor</p>

<p>I am of Hispanic origin and my parents did not attend college at all.<br>
Please post any opinions you have, and any advice!!!<br>

<p>I think you definitely have a chance. As you know, your only weak point is the CR portion of the SAT, but everything else looks great!</p>

<p>Your Hispanic origin and first geneation to college status should be a plus.</p>
