(another) What are my chances?

Hey all,

So I got my June LSAT back and I absolutely sucked on it. I got a 144. My diagnostic score in my LSAT course was a 148 - I did worse than I did on the first one I ever took. I had previously been scoring around 151-152 on my practice exams before then.

I graduated from a top 60 university with a double major in Econ & Pol Sci with a cumulative GPA of 3.12.
Two questions

1.) Could I, as a white male, conceivably get in anywhere with a 144 with my GPA?

2.) If I retook the test and scored in the mid-150's, could tier 1 or 2 law still be a possibility?

You need to retake and get a roughly 152-155 ish with that GPA to be considered at tier 2(rank 50-100) schools.

Also consider whether it is a smart investment taking on a lot of law school debt with the current legal market the way it is if you end up going to a tier 2/3 school. Job prospects are bleaker the further down the rankings you go.

^^^ Thanks for the cool link. It is very useful.
