Another "Will I get rescinded" thread

Well, school ends tomorrow, and I’m paranoid. I got 1 B freshman through 1st semester senior year, and now I’m getting all Bs except for 2 As. Is this too big of a drop? Thanks!

From what other people are saying, you'll be fine.

You have nothing to worry about. Even if one of those B's was a C, you'd be fine.

Yes, they will probably rescind your admission in a matter of minutes if not seconds.

I am so sorry for you - you are definately screwed.

Happypoo, See all the wry humor you have to look forward to on campus when your acceptance to Penn is not, in fact, rescinded?! Relax, you are fine!

No, you're done for. Anyone who tells you otherwise is just a waitlistee trying to steal your spot.

Unlike what others are saying, your admission probably won't be rescinded. HOWEVER, you probably will be put on academic probation because of the massive drop.

If you have a good excuse (read death in family, you got cancer etc..) they might not put you on academic probation.

Academic probation? Hahahahaha.

Hahahahnahaahahahahaha.

Hahahaha.

You people worry too much.

On a more serious note - anybody ended up regretting a bad 2nd semester senior year because they decided to transfer later or for scholarships later?

btw, happypoo, this entire thread is a joke. You'll be fine.

Klogon: yea, I sort of do. I got a B in Linear Algebra when if I tried I could have easily got an A. Yea, I didn't turn in a single hw assignment so nothing else can be expected. I hope that doesn't hurt me too much in the long run

how dare you get a B in class. shame shame shame.

admit, you have to laugh sometimes at these threads...people worry too much about nothing...like a B is bad? its called being a senior, and sliding. A to a B isnt a slide at all.

Phew! Thanks! It's just that all my friends are sitting around worrying about like 2 Bs.

Your friends need to stop worrying and start having fun. You need a 2.0 or below before they'll even consider rescinding.

I got waitlisted with a 3.1 unweighted...
...the lack of common sense scares me.
