it escapes me how people do not understand that nobody on this board knows if you can get into harvard. quit obsessing. work hard, get good grades, be active in the community, write good essays, apply, and you'll have a one in 10 shot like the rest of us.

it bothers me even more how rude some ppl on this forum can be. if you're so angry that there are so many ppl who want to assess their chances, then stop coming to CC, apajas.

Trivia, I think you have as good a chance as the rest of us. Make sure you have good essays/recs and interview.

Keep working hard. You're very qualified. What state do you live in, what color is your skin, how much money do your parents make, are you a legacy? If you are white, come from the NE, have parents that are upper-middle class or rich, and not legacys, then you're "unhooked." A.K.A -- You're an average applicant to an ivy league. However, Harvard accepts 50% of perfect SAT scores, or so I've heard. :)

You state that you are an Intel STS semifinalist, yet only seniors may enter the competition. Did you lie on the application or are you assuming that you will win this?

Apajas, I agree with you that when it comes to Harvard, there really is know way of assessing whether someone will be accepted. It is impossible to predict. However, Candlize is right in that it is unnecessary to be rude. triviadude, good luck!

You're like a lot of applicants who don't get in. You're also like a lot of people who do. Do your best on your app and impress your interviewer.

You look a lot better than I did when I applied, and I got in. At this point, I'd say it's your essays and interview that will be the deciding factor. Good luck.

pahk the cah, I love the username, haha.

Oh, thanks :)

hmm, awesome GPA and APs with good tests scores.

Future Teacher, Scientist and Engineer, AND Businessman? Wow.

You have to demonstrate how far you got in BSA and other ECs like sports in order to be competitive.

For example, did you get Eagle? Palms? SPL? or were you just a Star scout who quit?

i can't help but laugh at some of these comments.

you are clearly qualified. you will make it through the first round but you need to shine in the non-objective parts of the application to have a chance.

^^ fish, what do ou mean by non-objective? u mean non-marks/grades?

tupac noticed something I did. Intel STS is only for seniors, and semifinalist status is announced in January...
