Answer This Post!?!?!

I am reposting my question. What are my chances of getting into these colleges:
Cornell University
Carnegie Mellon
Boston University
University of Washington
Oberlin College

SAT: (highest combined) 710M/680V (highest single) 710M/660V

GPA 3.38
Curriculum: tough course load, honors, AP courses
Rank: a dismal 179/377

Extra Curriculars:
Varsity Tennis
Physics Club
Concert Band
Team Read (tutoring program for elem. students)
Y.E.S (summer program-worked at community centers)

So what d'ya think my chances are? Cornell is a big reach, Carnegie Mellon is a reach. I dunno about BU or UW

I think you have a great chance at all those schools, and you'll probably get in every one of them. Cornell however is hard to say because of your low GPA and mediocre SAT score. Judging from the information alone, I'd say the chances at Cornell are slim, but if you had a extremely challenging courseload and you had good SATs, I wouldn't be worried.

Might want to replace BU with some LAC'S like Trinity, Holy Cross, Bucknell.

Yeah i thought Cornell would be tough to get in. I hope that my essay might help me get in. Thanks for your post.
