hey hhmmm.

I understand your fear, but really don’t worry about it! Yes the townhouse are far, but especially in the beginning of the year everyone is trying to meet new people so just put yourself out there.

You’ll have all of orientation to meet tons of random people from all over. I meet one of my really close friends because of a high-five game they made us play. (I know it sounds stupid…but u have the entire freshman class jumping around in the middle of the quad so it was pretty entertaining). Besides orientation you will most likely be in classes mostly with freshman so you’ll get the chance to meet more people then. Also, if you get involved in any teams or activities chances are you’ll also get close with even more people.

Personally, I was barely in my dorm freshman year and spent a lot of time hanging out elsewhere. I was also in a more secluded area…but this was also nice because I used it as a place to relax and get some work done.

My friends that did live in the townhouses have said they can be quiet, but they also give you a lot more space. Also, since they are so big they are a great place to invite everyone over to enjoy some nice grape juice or apple juice on a lovely Friday night

Oh…and if you’re worried about traveling back and forth from central you’re right by a bus stop.

Enjoy it!
