I can't find too much on this class or the professor. I'm taking a heavyish load next semester so I want a fun class where I can learn something without too much reading, essays, busywork. Is is it a lot of work?

I have Anthro major friends who took 114 with that prof and they hated it.

Social anthropology courses tend to be filled with lots of busy work and ******** essays, or so I have heard.

I’m an anthro major. I don’t have any personal experience with this professor, but the upper div anthro courses I’ve taken thus far have had a lot of reading that isn’t always necessary but a minimal amount of actual work. Typically it’s a midterm, a paper or handful of short papers, and a final or final paper. I’d check out the course description on the anthro website if you haven’t done so already.

thanks I checked it out but nothing there.

I dunno to keep or drop. School starts soon :(
