I dunno if anyone on here has been admitted to their Ph.D program...BUT...

I already have a BA and an MA degree (not in anthro, but a related field)... my GPA was 3.88.. My undergraduate GPA in my major was 4.0, overall 3.79. I took some anthropology classes, all of which had A's. I've done research (in anthropology), been published and presented my research more than once. I also am in several honors organizations. My GRE combined was around 1220--or a 309 on the new scale..(which to me feels really low...---sadness)....I'm coming from a fairly large state school..

I can easily get rec letters either from professors who are quite well known in the field, or went to UCLA in the recent past... any thoughts??? Is it possible for me to still get in? I feel like that semi-crappy GRE may hold me up but I'm not quite sure. For a note, I've never scored high on standardized tests....my SAT's were dismal (around 1100 combined after taking it 4x).....0_0!!!

It is kind of driving me nuts...
