Anthropology B.S or B.A or perhaps even Psychology B.A?

I'm entirely overcome with scholastic decisions lately. I'm at a community college right now, and want to transfer to UCLA, i'm fairly certain I can get in. (at least with the anthro major)
But, my predicament lies in the fact that I want to go to med school. I'm aware that the anthro major gets you no where in this little joke we call life, but seeing how i'm set on med school, and I find anthropology interesting, I don't mind the worthless major.

However, with the competetion of getting into med school will they care if my anthro major is only a B.A? Or will they look more highly upon the B.S, or even something like Pyschology? (Which I am also interested in)

I'm taking most of my lower division science classes already just in case, so any of these majors seems within my reach. Help would be appreciated!

(Also side note,) Do I need ALL of the prereq's to transfer? Or if I'm missing one or two is that okay?

This has been addressed so many times its ridiculous… Your major does not matter when applying to med school. You just need to do the pre-req’s and get a good GPA and all that stuff… Doesn’t matter if it’s a B.A. or B.S.

As for your last question, I’m not sure talk to a counselor. (or maybe someone else here knows)

Yeah, I had a feeling this may have been brought up before. Apologies for the repetitiveness. Well then I might as well go with the B.A and take the med prereq’s at my own pace.

yah, I am Anthro BA and pre-dental. I am applying dental school next year!

Really cool. What were stats getting in?
