Anthropology or political science degree

I am planning on majoring in Anthropology or political science, leaning toward anthro. What are some colleges with good programs? Preferably other than ivy leagues only.

When selecting a college for anthropology, look for one, ideally, that offers courses in the four major anthropological subfields: archaeology and cultural and social, linguistic and biological anthropology. Beloit, Pitzer, Hamilton and, if female, Bryn Mawr, would be some excellent options to research further. Grinnell and Reed could also be good, but they appear to lack a range of supporting geosciences courses, which can be important for a thorough understanding of certain aspects of the field. For its coordinate relationship with Bryn Mawr, consider Haverford as well.
