Anthropology: Qs after applying?

So I'm done applying to colleges for fall 2012, but I have some remaining questions. Here are my top choices, though a lot of it's going to depend on financial aid. I'd like to major in Anthropology and possible Philosophy/Spanish.

Wheaton College, IL
UChicago (underqualified)
Kenyon (underqualified)
Beloit
College of Wooster

Some others worth mentioning, the first three have Anthro programs combined with Soc:
Kzoo
Knox
Denison
Umichigan (not sure if I'm qualified, kinda big)

The rest are basically safeties that are much closer to home, though only one has my major. They may come in handy if aid doesn't come through.

Basically, is there one that seems to stand out for Anthropology? I'm not looking for a school that's easy to get into, but my ACT scores were basically fails.

I read on another thread that Beloit has "odd" students. I'm very interested in Beloit, but that thread made me curious. How is Wooster's Anthro? Wheaton's? The rest?

Thanks for any responses!!!

Your list is interesting, because Wheaton and Beloit are at the opposite ends of the liberal-conservative spectrum. Beloit has the reputation of being very liberal politically (probably the reason for the comment you heard), while Wheaton is a conservative Christian school.

Yeah - I just don’t know where I’d fit in. I think I’m somewhere in the middle.
