Anthropology

What are some of the best colleges for anthropology? Is there anything special to consider for anthropology degrees?

I'm a B student looking to go to UCLA for graduate work...
thanks :)

Not to seem harsh, but a few things:

It’s way too early to be thinking graduate school. Also, when it comes time for graduate school, you search for the specific program, not the university. You need to find the program that fits your needs, the name on the university does not matter.

I want to go to UCLA for grad work because of their great ethnomusicology department… I’m not really sure what your basing this “too early” on? I need to apply in a year and a half…I would need to move in 2…

but let me rephrase my question: Which colleges are best known for a good quality of undergraduate education for anthropology students?

Either I am misunderstanding you or your post doesn’t make sense. Why are you interesed in undergraduate programs if you are going to apply to graduate school in a year and a half? Unless you are a sophomore at a CC?

Try doing a google search for “best anthropology programs,” or better yet, talk to your current professors (assuming you are in college).
