I know. That's why those two are my middle schools. Though, I hear NYU's financial aid sucks.

(sigh) Where to begin...oh, yes: WHITE. FEMALE. FROM NEW YORK. CAN'T COME CLOSE TO AFFORDING FULL TUITION. WHO SUCKS AT TRACK.

Honestly, the only factor I can't control (my birth) is the one that may well screw me over. If I were a rich man...from Wisconsin...Ya ha deedle deedle bubba bubba deedle deedle dum...

(that's from Fiddler on the Roof, for the non-musical-inclined)

Why not toss in non-uber-league activities, mediocre volunteering amount, and a slight tendency towards the anti-social?

The last part sounds like me.

two words: New Jersey.

Is that really bad?

Hey Wolfbane, Wisconsin is actually pretty competitive nowadays... at the admissions presentation I went to for Yale, they said that a ton of Wisconsin apps came in last year, and nearly ALL of the accepted students chose to attend (unless I'm mistaken). Some days I wish I was from North Dakota or Oklahoma or something (;

No one from my school applies to BU, BC, NYU, and CMU. Except this year, there are 5-10 kids applying to each school who are all just about better then me at everything.

Heh, I'm from Arizona. Not quite North Dakota, but the next best thing, I guess.

I'm from Texas, right under Oklahoma.

^ im from texas too.

Really? What part?

Being from Florida helps because its in the south........I hope.

heyy i'm from texas too. austin.

I'm from Dallas. What states count as underepresented? At Columbia and Stanford if anyone knows.

sorry, but i dont think texas will be underrepresented. Even though its far away, it is a very large state which is bound to have many qualified applicants

It might depend on the school. I was asking about Columbia and Stanford.

Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Dakotas...

ya definitely not texas. when i visited and went on a tour there were like.. 3 of us there from texas and maybe 12 people total. i was like dang it.

Where? I mean, what school are you talking about?

Is Colorado a good thing?
I'm in a college town so 99% of my class are going to CSU
I'm trying to get into Smith and Occidental
