<p>Tomorrow, Sept. 15, is the deadline for payment, but the UC grant money and my son's subsidized loan money still show up as "pending" not as paid. Should I be freaking out, or does anyone have experience with how this works? Everything else that doesn't qualify as "anticipated financial aid" has been paid and shows up as such.</p>

<p>Well, yes. There still are a few hours left in this day. I just don’t want to be Cinderella at the stroke of midnight! I’ll check again first thing in the morning. Does anyone out there know if this last minute stuff with financial aid is usually resolved in time?</p>
<p>It’s unfortunately normal. Financial aid does not disburse until the day before the bill is due, but it does not always show up as being disbursed until the bill is actually due.</p>
<p>Be patient, if you had the aid and had permissions set to pay all charges on your account, then you should be fine. Always, of course, keep an eye on things. You never know when there could be a hiccup in the system. I was even waiting up until the beginning of this month before my aid package finally posted. Nothing I had done (I submitted everything early), just the delay caused due to a busy FA Office.</p>
<p>I do admit I was incredibly nervous the first time I went through this process, but you get used to the panic and ulcers these things cause ;)</p>
