-Bates
-Hamilton

One comment: I hope you are aware that if Oberlin accepts you ED, you will have made a binding agreement to attend the institution. This might present a problem in case the financial package they offer you doesn't meet your needs. In general, I think than many of the schools you look at would have a hard time throwing a whole lot of money at a white(???), Western European student when they desperately need to boost their diversity. I'm not saynig that you will not receive any financial aid, but if your parents' joint income is anywhere upwards of $150,000/year (which is very likely since the dollar has plummeted against the Euro currencies) you will absolutely not be a candidate for full or even 3/4 aid... Perhaps 1/2 at best...

That said, good luck with your applications!

Well, on the contrary, my family income is around £30,000 hence around $60,000 which is loww.

Abotu ED, I know its binding, but in the event i get accepted and don't get offered enough aid, I've heard I can email them and ask for a more reasonable sum, and if they cannot then I am allowed to not go because its their obligation to meet the need.

But fincancialism aside, what would you say my actual chances are?
