I applied to a school as an early action applicant. I recently noticed that people were beginning to get letters back from that school. I kept waiting to get a letter (it’s been one…maybe two weeks of people announcing their acceptance? not exactly sure), but I haven’t yet. I called the admissions office to ask if I’d recieve a letter soon. They said I would in the beginning of January, after looking up my information. Their offices are closed from today until January 2nd. Does anyone know if this might be a bad sign, meaning I may have been rejected or deferred? or just simply a Christmas break kinda thing? This is my top school, so I cannot help but be anxious about this. Agh!
Is this about Rutgers NB?
No, sorry. SAIC!
Oh, well I am in the same boat with Rutgers NB and online status updates… pretty anxious lol
Well, hopefully someone will reply and give us some insight! I feel you though, waiting is hard. I’ve been looking for mail everyday.
Can’t speak for your school, but my daughter has been waiting for a reply from one of her EA schools. A number of kids have been getting acceptances over the past month, and worse yet, many of them applied after my daughter. However, she got her acceptance letter in the mail today So I’m thinking they are just still going through them and will continue post holiday. I wouldn’t read anything negative into it.
