Any RHP applicants heard back about the big merit scholarships where notifications were sent out last Friday (01/23)?

Hey! Haven’t received anything yet in Ohio. I don’t think I’d receive a scholarship higher than a Dean’s though, and most Dean’s do not go out in this batch. Anyone else?

I called and they said RHP acceptances including those with Dean’s come out by April 1st.

I haven’t gotten anything either D: jeez, the anticipation is killing me LOL.

But on the website it says “RHP students can compete for other USC merit scholarships in the general freshman pool.” I’m desperately hoping for a packet!

I’ve been looking through some other threads, and apparently USC may be sending out additional batches of letters today and later this week. Also, there was one year when they sent all the RHP letters out at one time… maybe that’s what’s going on? BTW, I’m from Texas.

I’m confused because a lot of people have received their Dean’s scholarships already, and if you’re accepted to RHP you automatically receive a Dean’s.

My take on this are:

If you are being considered for the big merit scholarship, then you get the 01/23/2015 notification letter.

If not, and you applied before or on 12/01/2014, then you get “not considered for big scholarship” letter.

If you get accepted to RHP, then you automatically get at least the Dean Scholarship and you get notified by end of 03/2015.

If you didn’t get the email, check your YouUSC portal. I didn’t get an email, but I did get the message from my portal.
