What I want to know is: for those that were accepted, did your portals update?
If they have, then I’m just gonna take it as a rejection. Good job to everyone who did get in!!
@BaoBaoXiongMao I know people who’s portals have updated to say they were rejected
“We are currently experiencing issues with some of our sites and are working to get them resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.” My portal still hasn’t updated, so I think they’re trying to fix it?
I got my rejection letter today… My portal only has 2 links (application status and submit documents) and it hasn’t been updated. Just as reference, I had 4.0 UW, 4.3 W, and 2230 SAT, but really weak ECs
I haven’t received anything in the mail and my portal isn’t updating. It’s killing me! Not sure if the mail is delayed (because I didn’t get a rejection letter either…) Hoping for the best though! Congrats to everyone who got in!
I’m in the same situation. Do you guys think the admissions is different for us bc we’re RHP? All first-year decisions are supposed to be out online.
Yes, the portal was updated when I checked this morning. The acceptance letter to the RHP was added. The right side of the screen says: I got into USC, I think.
any updates for anyone?
Nope, my portal still hasn’t changed. You?
same here
I’m glad I’m not the only one, this is so annoying I’m gonna call admissions Monday and see what’s going on
CT Junior: Where did you find “The acceptance letter to the RHP” on portal? I received acceptance by mail and portal, but no letter from RHP.
addiekwalker, movielover123 & BaoBaoWiongMao: Sorry about your trouble with the portal. I saw 2 messages on undergraduate admission status: “current message: application decision notification, March 23, 2016” and “message history: information about the scholarship process, Jan. 26, 2016”. I used https://you.usc.edu/applicant-freshman. Hope you can get answers no later than tomorrow. Best Wishes!
@123PSAT. You are correct, just acceptance letter to USC, not specifically to
RHP. My mistake, sorry.
Just received a big white envelope from USC Dornsife Honors Programs. It says “Welcome to the Resident Honors Program Class of 2020”. Are your guys going to the “on-campus admitted student day” on Sunday April 24?
called and found out I wasn’t accepted. but that’s okay, there’s always next year
@movielover123 Definitely! I got rejected RHP last year and got in this year! I think they definitely consider the fact that you applied RHP as demonstrated interest. Good luck next year!
though i really hate the fact that the admissions committee don’t do a good job of notifying rhp students of their denials. they need to come up w/ a better system other than forcing students to call/email and find out
Anyone going to USC “on-campus admitted student day” this Sunday?
I know this is kind of late…but I would really appreciate if anyone could assess my chances…thank you!!
