<p>Mine is still pending. And ucr is my top choice. >_<</p>

<p>UCR’s decisions are baffling. Mind as well just make their decisions based on scores alone.</p>
<p>3.08 gpa 22 act 1558. sat political science major</p>
<p>3.1 GPA, 2k SAT, math major and got accepted.</p>
<p>As expected, GPA doesn’t matter. Even though I work my butt off with a high GPA I don’t even get accepted. Pretty sad if you ask me.</p>
<p>I am sorry to hear that Gunner. I have seen some students who deserve to get in got rejected and students who don’t deserve to get in, got accepted before…</p>

<p>Thanks for your input, I’ve known students who have been accepted into UCR that were lazy and had low GPAs, but because of their test scores they get the nod over other prospective students. </p>
<p>It’s a shame to get wait listed, but you have to make the most of your opportunities.</p>

You have to remember that colleges look at more than just stats though. =o They look at ECs too, and AP courses~</p>

<p>That is true, maybe the competition to get into UCR increased this year. </p>
<p>But I did over 500+ hours of community service and excelled in my IB science courses, yet I’m wait listed for my major of Biology.</p>
<p>But UCs are stressing SAT scores more than GPA this year.</p>
