<p>collegemom, PSU looks at weighted GPA's and with a 4.9 your daughter will definitely get in. GPA is 2/3rds of the decision..she is fine. and beachguru, sorry to hear that. what were your stats again?</p>

<p>My stats are OS, 3.45 UW (School doesn't rank, public but named in the top 400 schools in the country), but probably 3.8 weighted, 9 honors, 3APs,
TONS of community service, captain of tennis team, member of track and sailing team, yearbook editor, international club, environmental club, spanish award, finalist in voice of democracy essay contest, jobs for three straight years....great recs, great essay and SATs were: 1180/1780 and major was Political Science. My application was in 10/10 or so.......I have to tell you that I'm bummed......now I'm hoping for UDEL.....what do you think?</p>
<p>How competitive is the education section of PSU? I am in the blue bubble range, but I applied in October and haven't heard anything about it. I'm getting a little worried, and I know it matters what major you put down... help is appriciated :)</p>

<p>Correct -- I did NOT check summer, but was offered that or a different campus. I got "the big" envelope on Saturday and then on Monday, my online acct was updated.....my major was Political Science............hope that helps everyone....best of luck to each of you!!!</p>

<p>I wasn't nervous about getting into PS UP. but Idk now. I have 1850 on my SAT's and my GPA on a 100 pt scale is 95, with one honors and ap. I don't have that many honors classes and I'm starting to worry that that's really bad. And also, I tried converting my GPA to a 4.0 but I keep getting anything from 3.9-4.0 and my sister had a 3.8 with a 97/98 GPA in honors. Whats the deal with that, and what are my chances? :( :(</p>
