Any accepted students Class of 2021

D applied by EA deadline but teacher never handed in recommendation. She called the school about it and has not heard back. I think the expected date to hear back is the 31st. Has anyone else heard anything?

I heard back today. I got accepted with $27000 merit aid. I’ll be applying for the college scholar award to increase the aid.

D was accepted on 12/21 with $27000 merit aid.

Did the teacher eventually submit the recommendation? I would call again. I’m sure this week and next are a difficult time to connect to a live person due to the holidays. Best of luck!

S was accepted yesterday 121/27 with 26,000 merit aid. S will be applying for the music scholarship. Where are you all from? We are from NJ

We are from Ohio. D will be applying for the college scholar award and a music scholarship (voice.) What is your son’s instrument? My older D received a very generous must scholarship from Wooster (viola.) She ended up attending a different school, but we really liked the music department and professors at Wooster.

Hmmmm…says it is 100% complete. I don’t know if she spoke to them again. We are in NC. We are originally from NY!

@ExiledNoble99 The College Scholarship is instead of the Dean Scholarship right? Just saw the portal and it says they received it the day after the deadline. Could that be what it is?

@violinmom, S plays drums. All State drummer for our state.

@violinmom, I am glad to hear that you liked the music department. This school came to S’s attention late in the process, but from what he and I have been reading it is a real contender. We will see about the music scholarship.

@elise303 Finally got the acceptance with 26K.

@mackatarinasmom, awesome!

My daughter applied RD and just got accepted on 2.10. Was very surprised because they told her she probably would not hear until the end of March…

That’s great! Still don’t know what the rest of financial aid will look like so not sure it will really be a possibility.

Does anyone have an idea as to how Wooster sends out decisions? Is it in waves? I applied over a month before the deadline and haven’t heard anything back, it’s starting to make me worried.

Update: Just heard back, accepted with a generous scholarship! Very honored.

I was accepted awhile back with a 28k scholarship! It’s one of my top choices as of right now. Congrats to everyone!
