Any Acceptees yet?

Alice: I am out of state (florida), and as far as having a gauge for how "honors" the program really is I have no clue, wish I did. But I bet those UNC chats would be a great venue for finding out because they do have some honor students on there and you could ask questions that would give u a better feel for the situation. Ultimately though i'm with you on visiting.

I think I went a littttle overboard on the college aps. I still have to hear back from like 6 schools.

yumikoo... I haven't decided on a major.. what i study will depend a lot on where I go to college I think. If i go to a place that offers journalism, it'll be that. I don't really plan on choosing a college based on my major though, if thats what you were getting at...

tangldupinblu... love the dylan reference.. i just got home from seeing him live in Oakland, great show, although his voice is getting to the place where i cant stand it anymore... anyways, is that Pomona College you applied to, or Cal Poly Pomona. Seems odd that you would be accepted at Pomona College and rejected at emory, or accepted at pomona and even consider applying to northridge..

^^hey man love that you're loving the dylan reference. No one knows good music anymore these days...good to know there's still a couple around. Yea, I hear his voice is pretty much indistinguishable/unbearable. He was in SD, but i couldn't go. oh well.

yea i should've clarified...that would be Cal Poly Pomona.
I applied to northridge because my friend forced me into applying there. Most of the CSU's i applied to i'd never go...i guess they were my safety safeties. actually i thought i wouldn't get in anywhere at all, i'm such a pessimist, so i went wild w/the apps.

my friend goes to Iowa for biology. she likes it there, but she's the kinda student who would fit in there...academically and socially. the other two are good schools, either one would be a great pick.

okay so that's cal poly pomona, not to be confused with little liberal arts school Pomona, irght? lol. because I was goign to say how'd you hear back so soon, but i will ask that in regards to emory.
