any advantage applying Early Action to DePauw?

i’m far from that…
i am applying for a a huge amt of aid

their acceptance rate is still pretty high, but Depauw doesn’t meet full need, they give
merit awards and then unless youre a top candidate gap you the rest.

Wait, can this be possible?

According to College Board, DePauw accepted 1,184 out of 1,187 applying Early Action:

[College Search - DePauw University - Admission](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

on another site I saw early action rate of 85% so no matter what the rate actually is, it appears to be very high. Depauw overall accepts 65% of apps and then tries to recruit them with merit aid which they dribble out over the late winter and early spring. Their strategy is a little different than most of the other good LACs. They use the aid packages to sift out the apps. I believe their yield rate is low.

Speedo - are you a current DePauw student?

no I am not
