Hello! So far I've heard that it's a good idea to apply early to UT Austin, like in August. Is there any other advice out there that will increase my chance of getting in? Especially since I'm not a top 7% auto admit.
How can I make myself stand out and look desirable on paper?? Thanks!

Awesome essays that explains what makes you different why Texas stuff like that… ap courses good GPA extracurriculars good SAT scores

My personal advice would be to do something extraordinary this summer. Make the most out of that experience, and use that for essay B (a moment/event in your life). And as long as you show a personal touch to it, it will work. In fact, one of the admissions officers from UT, told our high school that they aren’t judging us by the content of the essays as much as “how well it’s written to see if you can write at a college-like level.” I’m not sure what you want to make out of that, but I would say find a topic early on and then focus the majority of your time polishing the essay. Keep it clean, concise, and organized!
