Hi, I graduated HS last year and I'm currently enrolled in a CC in Florida. I currently have an AA in Finance from the same CC, but i let my GPA drop to 2.4 because i wasn't interested in pursuing that major anymore. Now, my heart is set on Aero. Engineering and I will start those classes this August. In high school, I graduated with honors. ( 4.0 Weighted, 3.4 state, 3.3 cumulative? If i remember correctly; <25% of my class) SAT's and ACT weren't fabulous, 1520, 23 respectively. I know if I were to apply now I wouldn't even get my foot in the door. With that said, what would I have to do differently to get in? I have 1 & 1/2 years to finish my degree so I have some time but not much. I would start applying to UF July 2015 to start in Spring 2016.

Would any of this work toward my advantage?
-AA Finance
- Quickbooks Certified
- Work History of 3 years
- Bilingual (Spanish/Eng)

I really want to get into UF for their exchange program with Korea which I would like study there for a year. I haven't found any other Florida University that has a program with them that's open to all majors.

Any experience/advice is appreciated. Thank you!
