Any Advice/Tips for Getting into Harvard?

<p>I am currently a high school jr. who is looking at some potential ivy league options. Any advice/hints/suggestions would be greatly appreciated:</p>

3.85 weighted GPA
currently no. 1 in class rank (I really, really, really hope to be the Valedictorian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

<p>So, with all that said, I plan to take SAT II's in fall and ACT in June. Oh, almost forgot, from what I have read, could be huge monkey wrench:</p>

<p>Being a URM helps, so you’ve got a plus there (I’m not trying to play the race card, but if you’re a URM, you’ve got a higher shot than most with the same stats as you).</p>

<p>I’d take the SAT again to get a higher score (I think if you got at least a 2100 then you’d be good [or a higher score if you can]). And/Or take the ACT to see how you do on that.</p>

<p>Being No. 1 in your class is a big factor, kudos on that.</p>

<p>Yea, get your SAT score much higher…it should be at least 2100+ preferably 2200+</p>
