Hi,

I'm currently a junior in high school and looking to go to a somewhat prestigious school. I live in Madison Wisconsin and go to one of the top ten public schools in the state. My UW GPA will be 3.9 if I get all A's this year. I'm taking AP gov and AP cs: principles. My school doesn't offer a lot of AP classes to take but I know some people that are taking four or more Ap classes and they have no live. Other than that I'm taking almost everything I can honors or accelerated (ex math physics instead of physics) and foreign language. However I'm a bit of a lot bloomer and never found my love for academics until the start of last year. I currently do lots of volunteer work, am in forensics speech and debate (2nd year doing it), play on the golf team, and hold two jobs (caddie at a country club and bagger at a grocery store), and am involved with my church (no, I'm not a jesus freak either) I feel like I really have a life compared to the flagship academics of the school who do-nothing but study and have no fun. I am hoping my act and sat scores will be good but the real reason I'm posting this is to see if any of you could recommend a few colleges that I may be interested in. I really like social studies and history. I'm also wanting to get out of the Midwest and maybe on the west or East coast sonically experience a new environment. Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance, Sam
