<p>I am a high school sophomore (going to be a junior) and I am very interested in doing some kind of math/science/engineering related summer program. However, everywhere I look, it is too late too apply. Do any of you know any prestigious programs I could possible apply to this late? Btw, I'm in the Bay Area (Cali)</p>

<p>Honestly, I feel like I'm wasting my summer. I'm swimming 3 hours every day during the summer to get faster, but still, I know that I'll never be fast enough to win any major awards, and as for engineering, Im taking a programming course in the local community college. It just feels like I'm not getting anything back in return for my work</p>
