hi
i took the SAT in december and my CR score was the lowest too!
First of all,
some colleges don’t look at the writing section.
so i advise you to focus on the CR section.
the most basic practices are the daily questions from collegeboard.com
and i’m sure u know that SAT is not something to cram the last minute
so what i do is study at least 30 min everyday so that my knowledge would build up.

Studying vocabulary and reading widely really helps, if you want to increase your CR score.

[]Read British literature and publications like the Economist.
[]For vocab, find word lists in practice books (like Barron’s review book, very comprehensive) or study sites (like [Fully customized online one-on-one SAT training and tutoring to increase your score by 150 - 300](http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com/1-on-1/), which I used).[/ul]
I ended up getting an 800 in CR.

For the math section, I think it’s careless mistakes that are pulling you down, and for writing, review grammar and practice a lot.

when you look at the average range of the SAT scores of certain colleges, it may be 1200-1400. You may think this is really low but it could be that they only consider the math and CR sections, thus the total being 1600.

Then does that mean the essay doesn’t count as well?
