Any advices?

<p>Hey! I am going into grade 10 in Canada, and I just moved from NZ.
I hope to go to NYU or somewhat similar college and was wondering what I should do to prepare for it.</p>

<p>I am a average athelete and my grades ranged from B's to A's.
I recently took SAT diagonstic test and got a score just over 1800.</p>

<p>The school I'll be going to provides IB program, so I plan to take IB diploma. :)</p>

<p>I don't know how I am doing and I think any advice that would help me would be great! Thnx</p>

<p>are you gonna be a recruited athelete? if you are it’s a lot easier.</p>

<p>just raise your sat and get some extra corriculars</p>

<p>I might join the school rugby team although my school’s rugby’s not really strong :(</p>

<p>An 1800 seems like quite a stretch for NYU. Are the As and Bs at least in AP classes?</p>

<p>I plan to take SAT next march, and I should study to get around 2100.
Also, since I plan to take IB, I don’t plan to take AP classes.</p>
