<p>I got accepted, but I'm not sure if I should consider attending. I have been disappointed in what I've been hearing lately. I want to know if there are any other black students who plan to attend or if there are any current students that can shed some light on the atmosphere on the campus.</p>

<p>i was considering going there since I am a Texas resident but there are very bad issues circulating about the issue of racism there. I am African American and my teacher (who is white and attended A&M) suggested that I NOT attend A&M because of the color issue there. She says there is a definite segregation pool there and that is not something I would personally support. I suggest attending UT instead of A&M. Good school, no color issues.</p>
