Any AP Euro kids freaking out?

A lot of my friends were really confident after having taken the test. I thought the DBQ was hard, the FRQ's were decent (well one of them), and as far as the MC goes, I really don't have any clue. I rushed through the whole thing, and even though I got the highest grade in the class, I think I'm the most insecure about my score out of EVERYONE. I'm not calling in because I don't want to have to pay $8 and then listen to a computer telling me I got a 2. lol. Anyone else share my sentiments?

Well I’m really nervous like you are, except that it’s for the AP World test. I thought the multiple choice was decent and the DBQ was fine. The other two were not that great.

I also had the highest grade in the class but I am really insecure. I just want to know and get it over with when the letter comes.

Lol, I’m in the same boat. I’ve been hearing that I’m getting my letter near the 17th. I’m pretty anxious. No one at my school’s gotten a 5 before (AP Euro is 3 years old) so it doesn’t give me much to go off of from. I’m hoping it’s above a 3 but I’m not too sure. A lot of my World History friends at different schools feel the same way!

Good luck! From the scores others have been posting, the curve should be pretty generous this year. I hope that helps calm your nerves lol :)

Hoping for a curve;)

I thought I did decent on the MC, great on the DBQ and epically failed the essays. I completely BSed both essays.

I called and got a 5. Don’t worry. :)

CIA, I did the same as you. LOL
I’m hoping for a 4 or a 5.

So far, all my friends who have called in have gotten 5’s  hope that streak continues.

DBQ was easy.
MC was all over the place.
FRQ’s would’ve been so much easier if I actually took the time to study.

Interesting, my class found the MC medium and the free responses really easy, because they were things we focused on in class. Discussing it with our teacher was something like:

Teacher: How was it?
Us: Not bad!
T: How about the free response?
U: The DBQ was, teehee, colonization of Africa.
T: No way! So obviously you all had an easy time with that.
U: And one of the free responses involved comparing enlightened despots.
T: Oh you’ve got to be kidding me.

Oh my gosh, me too. MC was alright, DBQ was fine, but my FRQ sucked. I’m worried.

the european history dbq was about the scramble for Africa [imperialism]???..wow…that’s just about the same for the world history dbq this year…

Yeah, it was exactly that. African imperialism across Europe or something. World and Euro def. overlap. That’s why I’m self-studying for the World AP next year, I bet it’ll be easy.

yo6522, congratulations!

I thought it was challenging and I was pleasantly surprised with a 5. I got a 4 on US last year feeling very confident and with a 770 SAT II score to boot. I still wouldve gotten credit with a 4 but it’s a good testament, considering I’m planning on being a history major :)

The damn computer thing skipped over my score when I called in, so I have to wait two more weeks to know. XD

Man up and call for your scores. I BSed the free response essays and still got a 5.

I’m pretty nervous about my score but all of you who were also nervous seem to be getting 5s so that’s a good sign. I’m not about to spend $8 on something that I can get for free if I wait a little longer. The AP Euro exam was the only AP I took this year and I’m not a graduated senior who needs to know if they should sign up for a certain class based on their AP scores. I’m just going to wait it out for 2 more weeks.
