I was wondering if anybody knows about any colleges that have opened their applications for the class of 2022? I understand it is early, but I just want to start early. Even if it is the most random college that nobody knows about, could you please list it here? Thanks guys.
The Common Applications open August 1 I think. Many of the prompts from this year will be reused again this year, so you might wanna look at colleges’ websites to see what they are to get a head start on writing your essays. There is no advantage to submitting them early at non-rolling admission schools.
Common app does open August 1, here are this year’s essay prompts, so you can get started early: https://www.commonapp.org/blog/2021-2022-common-app-essay-prompts
You can create a common app account now, but only some info will rollover on Aug 1: https://www.commonapp.org/apply/first-time-students
Some schools that have their own app may open the app before August 1. For example, U Alabama typically opens their app in July. I am not sure of a resource that has a list of all of these schools, so for schools on your list just go to their website for pertinent dates.
It’d be a very useful resource though, because many students start working on their apps in J’y and for many, would be done then.
Florida universities open in July, I think.
CommonApp is still not updated for the Class of 2022.
But, the Georgetown Application is open! (They use their own portal on their website) I am just waiting on CommonApp, but I am pretty sure it’s 8/1 open for most or all schools.
S22 just got an email from U of Kansas saying they open July 1. In the class of 2022 thread, someone said Iowa Stat is also July 1. Ole Miss is July 1 too.
Also Apply Texas opens July 1, and some on Coalition app will, too.
Arizona State University opened July 1st too.
