Hello all! Recently, I have got accepted by APU’s nursing program. So happy!. However, I’ve been caught into an unfortunate predicament. You see, after browsing through APU’s traditional BSN program, I’ve taken notice by the GPA averages, as seen here: http://catalog.apu.edu/undergraduate/school-nursing/traditional-nursing-program/ I am a little worried about maintaining these GPA averages, not because I am not capable of performing well, but because I am extremely worried about not having the time to study, since I’ll be commuting 60 miles everyday (30 miles and back). I am wondering if the intensity of the classes are enough for me to warrant a 60 mile commute every single day. I feel that driving will slowly deteriorate my grades. Dorming is NOT an option, as money is a touchy subject right now. I would just like some of your advice APU nursing students. Thank you.
