Any big travel plans before college?

A lot of people in my school have been talking about doing something epic the summer before everybody goes away to college next year. Some kids have been saying a cross country road trip from NY to Cali, back packing in Europe, etc.

Personally, my girlfriend and I have been talking about this for quiet some time now and we're looking to go to Europe for the whole summer next year. Leave some time after Graduation/Prom (or after-prom) and come back in August. We both loved Paris when we visited with our respective families, so that is definitely a must. As well as Amsterdam, the UK, Spain, Germany and other sights in Western Europe. It would definitely be awesome because we were both born in Europe (Russia/Bulgaria); and although we've americanized ourselves over the course of our lives we're still distinctively different than the rest of our classmates so it'd be interesting to see life across the pond and possibly how we would have been partying/living had we never moved to the US lol

ehh and also because we turn 18 at around the same time before spring break, I was thinking of possibly going up to Montreal (which is actually only 10 hours from NYC) and celebrating the big 1-8. That means any bar, night club in Montreal...plus its like a mini replica of Paris ahah

You guys thinking of doing anything epic senior year of High School?

All my friends want to go to cancun next spring spreak, maybe.

some of my friends want to road trip to florida for spring break/after school ends.

also I’m hoping I can go to China for like 3 weeks to visit family

My friends want a road trip, but senior year is quite a while for me. It could play out differently.

I kind of have doubts as to whether or not this will actually happen, but I really want to see either Wimbledon or follow a couple tournaments of the US Open Series. It would probably be too late in the summer to see the actual US Open, even though that’d be frickin sweet. And hopefully I’ll have a girlfriend by then :)

My friends haven’t mentioned anything except going to the Jersey shore. Which I don’t really want to do, because I’ve been there many a time.

We wanted to go on the school trip to Greece, but that hasn’t worked out.

I would love to travel around Europe. I’ve been to London/Paris. I want to see the rest of France, Scotland, Prague, Amsterdam, Belgium, and possibly Germany. And Switzerland.

My sister wants to go to the World Cup. Even though I don’t care in the least about soccer, I’d be cool to go to South Africa. I doubt it will happen though. I want to do the internship I did a year ago and other stuff. Besides hat, it’d be mega expensive.
I went through a lot of Europe the summer before 9th grade, so I don’t really want to do it now. We were on France during the World Cup, and it was pretty exciting.

Well, if I HAD money I would definitely travel back to my own country and visit my friends :)

I’m thinking about volunteering abroad during the summer.

Some of my old ap govt. classmates and I are talking a trip to Paris, London and Normandy with our ap govt teacher over spring break. I’m so excited because I’ve never been to Europe before.

If I could I’d extend the trip to go to Italy, but I’m perfectly happy where I’m going.
