<p>I am filling out the UC Application. And, I would like to know the stat to get in Biology major or Biochemistry major. If you can share your stat, I would really appreciate it.</p>
<p>Dude just know, Biochemistry is one of the hardest majors to complete. Especially with a Medical Sciences emphasis.</p>
<p>If Bio or Biochem is your thing, and you have a DEEP passion for it, choose it. I was a Biochem major and all I can say is that it’s tough and afterwards figured that it wasn’t what I really had a passion for. I’m currently in business.</p>
<p>like angel said, biochem is a pretty demanding major. I’m a first year biochem major, my stats was around 3.5 to 3.6 highschool GPA (forgot weighted or unweighted), 1850 SAT 1, over 700 for SAT2 math lvl 2 and 800 for chinese. Personally i think my stats was very low, but i was offered the chancellor scholarship. well hope this can help, and if u want more stats, there was a topic that is about who is accepted that was started around March, so u can dig around that topic for some more stats</p>
<p>It’s not really hard getting in, but it takes a lot of hard work if you want a competitive GPA (i.e., for medical school)</p>
