Any Brown "Likelys," circulating yet?

Has anyone out there received a “Likely” letter," from Brown yet?

Whatever the answer, any conclusions you could draw upon that would be pretty worthless. The fact is most successful applicants never receive any LLs. And if you or someone is pining away for one, I’d say it’s a useless longing.

The fact is LLs can be issued anytime between Oct 1 and Mar 15. Each Ivy has its own timeline. Anecdotally non-athletes may receive them in late Jan and early Feb. But these are for the slam-dunk, gotta have applicants – by definition, only a handful.

^ Let’s be honest. This is a useless post.

I have not received one, nor do I expect one.

My girlfriend got one. She is being recruited for track

When did she receive the Likely Letter?

Did anyone receive an email from Brown Today said that

From: “Brown University, Office of College Admission”

I did. There’s an entire discussion here on what it actually means:

Congratulations to your girlfriend!

Wondering if all Likely Ls were sent out.
S is an athletic recruit as well, on a RD recruiting list, last conversation w coach was that application was deemed viable and that he had to drop a lot off list who were not.
He continues to wait… as the Brown coach/team is his #1 choice…

Would be interested to hear about any ‘Likely’ letters out there…

^ Likely Letters usually come out in waves. The first round should have probably gone out (mostly, if not all, athletic recruits probably) and the next wave should be later this month.
