I currently reside in the U.S. but i'm an international. So i'm actually also considering the top canadians universities because in three years i'll be able to get the Canadian citizenship and enter the U.S. freely. Which school has the best Accounting as an undergrad major??

One important question, is it harder for a top Canadian university student to come to a decent law school in the U.S.?

thanks

hi, in my opinion and experience, the Canadian university system is a mess right now. I would NEVER leave the US to come to Canada for school. I dropped out of a top-rated Canadian university a couple years ago, and am now planning on going to the States to finish my undergrad.

if you come to Canada, expect huge class sizes, little contact with professors, repetition in classes but no room in your schedule to take electives....

I am a VERY proud Canadian, so believe me I would not criticize the university system without really meaning it. however, on the other part of your situation, I would highly recommend Canadian citizenship! - although I would no means say it lets you enter the US freely....but perhaps more so than your current situation?

thank you so much for your input.
yeah it is definitely the citizenship that appeals, my U.S. status is still pending and you know how the immigration process takes forever here! And it is much more troublesome to find a job as an int. national student.
So unless I get accepted by my top choices in the U.S. i'll be mostly likely to go to Canada.

Waterloo is supposed to have a good accounting program.
