SAT: 800 Reading, 750 Math, 780 Writing = 2330 (I will be taking it again on Saturday to see if I can raise the score)

Subject Tests: US History 720, Literature 750

I've also played piano for 12+ years, with multiple awards for that. I horseback ride competitively and run recreationally.

I'm also applying to Colby, Bowdoin, Brown, William and Mary, and Grinnell. Any other suggestions? Thanks so much for your time!

Please tell me you’ve got a better use for your time than retaking a 2330…ah well, to each his own.

Are you for real? ^^^^w/Rayrick, go do something else on that saturday. You might want to look at Vassar as well. What do you plan to major in?

I had to retake the SAT to apply for a job as a tutor, the employers wanted an SAT score from the last 6 months. I’ve actually never considered it, but I’ll definitely look into that (: I want to major in literature in history, but eventually go on to medical school. I have this entire rant about how doctors need liberal arts educations because their bedside manner is deteriorating rapidly.

Watch it, buddy… Actually, that’s what I used to teach at Medical School. I don’t think a liberal arts education is highly correlated with bedside manner. I think empathy comes from further back.

Blame it on the insurance companies. With ever-shrinking reimbursements, docs are being forced to care for more and more patients per/hr/day to continue to be a viable business. The resulting time constraints leave little time for friendly chit-chat. Flight attendants are no fun anymore either.

I’d say you definitely have a chance! You look well qualified! Good luck and I hope you’re accepted! Are you applying ED? More importantly, do you want to play quidditch? :)

Tie Dye for the Homeless?

“Tie Dye for the Homeless?”

“Free Range Macrame” was full.
