Are you a currently a junior or a senior? It is hard to tell whether you applied or are planning to apply. If you are a junior, you still have time to get your ACT score up. I would recommend re-taking it to try to get it into the 30s.
If you already applied, letters will be out in about three or four weeks. Good luck!
Sorry haven’t applied yet… have time to retake ACT. Thanks!
Other than the ACT, do I have a shot?
Is your 3.8 weighted or unweighted? If you get the ACT up, I’d say you are competitive. I think it’s important to read the college’s mission statement, and be sure to show that you understand BC’s mission when you write your essays. I think you efforts at church (eucharistic minister, CCD volunteer, mission trip etc) are all very important and should be emphasized in your essays, because BC is after all, a Catholic college. Look back at the stats on this board for students who applied EA and were accepted in Dec., as well as students accepted last year. Also, current high school students who applied RD will be hearing soon, and will be posting their stats on college confidential. Good luck!!!
That’s W, UW is around 3.76…Thank you though that’s very helpful. Appreciate it!
@DunderMifflin27 You got great advice from college bound. I would just add that you might also take the SAT and see how that goes. Some students do better on one test than the other. If you’re junior, I think you can take it as late as November and the school will get your score in time. (Please check the college website.)
