Hi, I'm an asian female probably applying to dartmouth ED from a pretty competitive public school. No hook or legacy.

UW/W: ~3.5/4.01 upward trend, B's --> A's, with a heavier courseload. (although I was also taking all honors classes freshman/soph year)

Class Rank: In or near the top 10%; school doesn't give exact rank.

SAT I superscored: 780 math, 800 CR, 800 writing; 2380.

SAT II: 800 chem, 790 math2, 700 u.s. history. Hoping not to submit the 700, not sure what happened there. Taking Literature in october.

AP scores:
Chemistry-4
Biology-5
U.S. History-4
English Language-5
Taking six more this may. (macro, micro, lit, french, calc AB, physics)

Teacher recs: Good?
Counselor recs: Pretty good? Don't know her that well.

I've also taken the most rigorous courseload available.

EC's/Awards (not very substantial..):
Flute for three years, 100+ hours with the American Cancer Society for fundraising and volunteer work, babysitting, tutoring, NHS, FHS (leadership position), National Merit Semi-Finalist, public relations officer of a school club that donates to charity, AP Scholar with Honor..

My GPA and EC's suck, I know, but would unique essays and my test scores help enough for ED? I would be majoring in Chemistry at Dartmouth.
