I'm a rising junior, and have been very interested Georgetown lately. Trying to see if I have any chance / if it's worth applying.

Freshman year I took all honors courses, and I'm ahead a year in math. I got straight A's, unweighted GPA was 4.0, weighted GPA was 4.7 or 4.8.

I screwed up my sophomore year badly, I took all honors plus an AP course -- it started off well until the beginning of first semester when I got A's but 3 B's (in H english, H Advanced Precalc, and AP chem). Second semester I got B's in english and precalc again, but a C in AP chemistry. Chem was hard for me; Honors chem I did well in but I had trouble keeping up with AP (most kids in my class were seniors so they had a lighter overall course load) , this caused my other grades to suffer; as math is my best subject and i had no trouble with english, I had high test scores but just didn't have enough time to complete assignments and ended up with 89%'s in both of those. maybe also partly because I was really depressed & got into self harm and stuff which I'll try to not let it get in my way next year, but I hardly put in effort by the end of second semester. I also did very poorly on my SAT II for chemistry, 670. I feel like this year might've messed up my chances at good colleges.

My current overall GPA's are 3.7 non-weighted and 4.4 weighted

My Junior year i'll be taking AP biology, AP environmental science, AP calculus BC, and honors english. I am dropping french junior year so i will have a study hall first semester for extra time to study for the ACT's and to get our required health course out of the way before senior year. I'll also take the SAT II for bio and math 2

Senior year, I'll have AP physics, AP psych, and maybe AP lit. SAT II for physics

I volunteer at hospitals during the summer and at the library during part of the year, in student council and national honors society. My high school's ranked one of the top ones in the state

I'm spending my summer studying for the SAT/ACT so hopefully I'll get a high enough score on that. Before I began studying for the SAT's I took a full practice test and got around 1900, which I'll try to bring up to the 2100+ range through the summer with a prep course and studying on my own.

I know it's too early to know, but will there any point in applying to Georgetown or have I probably already ruined my chances?
